Some products we sell at Dalinex LLC — such as riding lawn mowers, generators, playsets, gazebos and pergolas — are large and heavy and require special freight shipping instead of standard parcel delivery. This page explains everything you need to know about how freight shipping works.
What Is Freight Shipping?
Freight shipping is used for large or heavy items that cannot be sent through standard carriers like UPS or FedEx. A freight carrier transports these items by truck directly to your address, ensuring your product arrives safely and in perfect condition.
Which Products Require Freight Shipping?
The following types of products typically ship via freight:
- Gazebos and pergolas
- Riding lawn mowers and zero-turn mowers
- Portable and standby generators
- Swing sets and playsets
- Other large or heavy outdoor structures
If an item requires freight shipping, it will be indicated on the product listing.
Is Freight Shipping Free?
Yes. Just like all our orders, we offer free shipping on all U.S. orders — including freight. There are no hidden fees or extra charges for large items.
How Long Does Freight Delivery Take?
Freight orders typically arrive within 3–7 business days after your order has been processed. Processing takes 1 business day (Mon–Fri). Delivery times may vary depending on your location and the freight carrier.
How Does Freight Delivery Work?
Freight delivery differs from regular parcel delivery. Here is what to expect:
- Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number by email
- The freight carrier will contact you by phone to schedule a delivery appointment
- You must be present at the delivery address to receive the shipment
- The driver will deliver the item to your curb or driveway — not inside your home
- Please inspect the package carefully before signing for it
What Should I Do When My Freight Order Arrives?
Before signing for your delivery, please do the following:
- Inspect the packaging carefully for any visible damage
- If you notice damage, note it on the delivery receipt before signing
- Take photos of any damage immediately
- Contact us at Contact@dalinex.com with your order number and photos
What If My Freight Order Arrives Damaged?
If your item arrives damaged, contact us immediately:
- Email Contact@dalinex.com with your order number and photos of the damage
- Do not attempt to assemble a damaged product
- We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you
Can I Track My Freight Order?
Yes. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking updates to appear after shipment.
What If Nobody Is Home During Delivery?
Freight deliveries require someone to be present at the time of delivery. If you miss your delivery appointment, the carrier may charge a redelivery fee. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule.
Do You Ship Freight Internationally?
No. All freight shipments are within the United States only. We do not currently offer international freight shipping.
